Friends

I just finished episode 6 of Hong Gil Dong, and as gogomoksori predicted, the story has picked up and it's bordering on addictive. I love stories that interlock and overlap and there's so many threads going on at the moment that I can't look away. Everyone has their own complicated objectives (except maybe Yi Nok/Enok/whatever her name is, all she wants to do is hang out with Gil Dong and eat a lot, I KIND OF LOVE HER) and people who should be friends can't be friends for political reasons, among others, and there are crazy people and nobles and hookers and explosions and colourful costumes and fight scenes and JANG GEUN SEOK'S LIPS/VOICE/PRESENCE so I'm pretty much the happiest camper in the world.

Sometime around the third episode I remembered that I could, in fact, screencap pertinent images and scenes, and a little bit later I recalled that picspam meme I did a couple of weeks back, and a bit after that I decided to put those things together for the greater good by picspamming JGS in HGD. I can't say I'm loving JGS's performance thus far - he's a bit emotionless and without expression, but I can give him the benefit of the doubt and consider that part of his character - but his face is its usual triumph and I feel it's only accentuated by his long, luxurious hair.

So, in no particular order, have some gratuitous JGS from eps 1-6 of Hong Gil Dong, for lookatmoiye7, who actually requested him in You're Beautiful. I HOPE THIS IS FINE TOO.

I kind of just want to keep watching but it's 2am and I have stuff to do tomorrow, so I guess I'll have to resist. *sigh*

Oh hey, remember those countdown things I was doing, like, A YEAR AGO? Well, I never ended up posting the guys who came in first and second in the Manuary one. At the time I was planning on putting someone else in second place but then he was stupid and got caught up in drug stuff, which made me take petty revenge by not posting about him (I'm trying to be vague, but you'll probably guess) and then I got caught up in life stuff and then I just forgot about it entirely and moved onto bigger and better things.

Last week I created a community as a mirror for all my picspams, and when I was slowly rehosting all my pictures and transferring the entries across, I realised that it would be silly to post only 18 entries in the countdown when I could easily just do the last two posts.

So, without further ado, here's second place!
